Strong businesses make strong communities!
Welcome to the Brighton Board of Trade (BBOT)
As a small business owner I know it can be sometimes difficult not knowing who to reach out to when you have a question, especially when you’re new to the area and you don’t know many of your business colleagues. The Board of Trade is a great way to get to know other business owners in the community.
Our Board of Directors meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 11:45am at varying locations across the Brighton business community (lunch is always provided!). This meeting brings together representatives from various business organizations across Brighton, including but not limited to, local academic institutions, health care organizations, the Boston Police and other small businesses. At these meetings, you’ll have the opportunity to network with representatives from various organizations and learn more about the many exciting events happening in the Brighton community. Whether it’s participating in a small business seminar being offered by one of the local colleges or a safety information session provided by the local police – we are sure there are many ways the Brighton Board of Trade can help you to be a better informed, more involved member of our local community!
In addition, we host evening networking events twice per year in December and June if you are unable to attend a luncheon meeting. Your membership with the BBOT also goes towards supporting the Holiday street light displays, scholarships for local students and local youth activities, and many more community improvement initiatives. Thank you for helping us to make Brighton a better place to work, live, and operate a business!
Please request or download our membership brochure which features an additional list of benefits associated with Brighton Board of Trade membership. I look forward to meeting you at one of our events and, please, don’t hesitate to call me at 617-254-2525 if you have any questions.
